    First, our trained delivery team brings pets directly from our center to your door. They are skilled at keeping your pet calm during the journey. This is our most affordable option, ideal for deliveries within the same city or neighboring areas.

  2. Train Delivery
    For longer distances, we utilize the Indian Railways Parcel or Escort Service. This journey is fast, with pets feeling less anxious in air-conditioned wagons. It’s a cost-effective solution for reaching most major cities while making the delivery process easy to track.

  3. Cab Delivery
    Need your pet at their new home the same day? In this case, an experienced caretaker travels with your pet in a cab or taxi. This ensures smooth, same-day, intercity delivery, helping your pet avoid long layovers and arrive relaxed.

  4. Special Freight Forwarder (Premium Delivery Tracking)
    For those seeking peace of mind, we offer premium care by partnering with specialized pet freight forwarders. These professionals are trained in everything from comfort crating to vet checks, guaranteeing a safe and smooth journey from start to finish.

  5. Self Pick-Up
    Nearby Pets India is an online platform, not a physical pet store, which gives you the option to meet the breeder and pick up your new pet directly from the source. For your safety, you may choose to meet in a nearby public space. Here, the breeder will show you the pet before you decide to take it home. This allows you to inspect your pet’s health, behavior, and the environment in which they’ve been raised. We’ll help coordinate everything with the breeder and our customer support team to ensure a seamless experience. Please note that this option depends on the breeder’s availability and your proximity to their location.

Exchange or Return of Pets in Delivery

If the pet you selected isn’t the right fit, you can cancel the order within 5 hours on the same day it was placed. Simply reach out to our support team—whether by phone, WhatsApp, or email. Be sure to provide a valid reason for the cancellation.

Remember, you must contact us on the same day you purchased the pet and within the 5-hour window.

For returns or exchanges after delivery, we can only accept requests that comply with the rules outlined in our policy below.

Pets cannot be returned unless the stated reason is documented at the time of delivery. Here’s how our policy works:

  1. Injuries at Handover:
    Inspect the pet carefully before accepting it. If you notice any injury, report it immediately. Claims made after you’ve accepted the pet will not be considered.

  2. Patches Issues:
    Patch Pets requires a video consultation to confirm the pet’s readiness before shipment. Upon delivery, the pet’s identity and condition must be rechecked. If you’re dissatisfied with any aspect, you can immediately return the pet at the delivery location. Please note, no post-delivery adjustments or requests will be entertained.

  3. Travel Stresses:
    Pets may occasionally arrive slightly fatigued, with soft stools, a mild temperature, or a few ticks. These are common travel-related symptoms and typically resolve quickly. Returns will not be approved based on these conditions.

  4. Rabies or Parvo:
    If a puppy tests positive for Parvo or Rabies, you may request a return. An official vet report and a signed, stamped test certificate are required. Claims must be filed within one week of delivery.

Mixed-Breed / Wrong Pets:
If the pet you received isn’t the right breed or is a mixed breed, you may request a refund or exchange. Simply contact our support team within 11 months of delivery. This timeframe is ideal, as a pet’s full growth is typically visible within this period, making it easier to determine the correct breed.

Missing Documents:
You don’t need paper copies for pet documents. All required certificates, vaccination records, and veterinary reports for birds, cats, and dogs can be downloaded directly from our site. If any document is missing, you can request a partial refund based on the following fees:

  • Missing vaccination reports: ₹450.00

  • Missing DNA records for birds: ₹200.00 per bird

  • Missing veterinary records: ₹500.00

Refunds for missing documents will be processed within the timeline specified in our Refund Policy.

Do you deliver in All Over India?

Absolutely—our service extends nationwide. We cover tens of thousands of pin codes, from metropolitan hubs to more rural locations. Although we aim to accommodate all pet owners, deliveries to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and to Lakshadweep remain unavailable at this time. To verify whether we can deliver to your specific address, please enter your pin code directly on any product page.

Is two-day delivery available on all orders?

Our two-day delivery service is available for select locations. We kindly ask that you consult our Support Team prior to choosing the express delivery option.

Do I need to be there to sign for delivery?

Absolutely, there’s no need for you to be there in person to get your order. If you give us the go-ahead, we can hand the package over to a relative or a buddy at the address you choose. We know your days might get packed, so we aim to keep the delivery easy for you—and your pets, too.

What are the different modes of transportation for my pet?

When the journey stretches beyond 300 kilometers, we book 3AC coaches through the IRCTC “Pets in Basket” program. The arrangement is secure and dependable, allowing your pet to travel in a specially designed carrier that is kept in the compartment, guaranteeing a gentle ride and proper ventilation.

For trips of less than 300 kilometers, we schedule a cab. You can choose to have a staff member ride along, cradling your pet in their lap or beside them. This extra pair of hands offers reassurance, constant supervision, and, most importantly, companionship, so that your pet arrives calm and comfortable, having felt a little less of the journey.

Can you deliver a pet to an individual under 18 years of age?

Sure, we can drop off to someone under eighteen, but we need a parent or guardian to approve it first. They can give that okay when the order is made or when the delivery happens. Just a heads up—if our delivery person sees that the customer is a minor and there’s no approval, the order will be canceled right then and we can’t give a refund. We stick to this rule to keep our pets happy and to keep everyone safe.

Why do I need to pay 35% of the total amount upfront instead of opting for 100% Cash on Delivery?

The 35% deposit serves as a commitment that preserves your order and shields us from the heightened risks associated with sudden cancellations, whether in the final hour or on the doorstep. Those cancellations generate steep financial and logistical repercussions. The outlay for transporting and relocating a pet is considerable; to illustrate, one unannounced order reversal demands that we find new homes for five puppies to offset the financial damage.
